Job Description
Qualifications and Competencies:
• DAE in Electronics/Instrumentation
• Should have extensive experience in performing jobs on Analyzer Systems and its Sample conditioning Systems.
• Well versed with P&IDs, loop Drawings, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect, PFDs, interlocking drawings etc.
• Hands-on practical maintenance and troubleshooting experience on advanced process analyzers such as FTNIR, GC, Hydrogen, Sulfur, Flash Point, Density, Conductivity, TOC, RVP, and Oxygen.
• Well familiar with HSEQ standards / Work practices in a fuel oil refinery/petrochemical plant.
• Practical Experience as a Technologist Analyzer Systems in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience of Fire Detection (Fire Alarm, Detectors, Horn, etc.) Fire suppression system – Gas & Water (Sprinkler system, Deluge system, Wet & Dry system, FM 200) & Gas Detection System.
• Hands-on experience on the Siemens & Honeywell Fire Alarm System and Gas Detection Systems.
• Familiarization with operating and working principles of Smoke/Heat, Flame, Gas detectors of multiple makes, including Siemens, Honeywell, Draeger, and General Monitor.
• Familiarization with technical software’s including commissioning tools and monitoring Danger Management Systems.
• Good understanding of P&IDs, Logic Diagram, Cause and Effect Chart, interlocking Drawings, etc.
• Good Communication & Presentation Skills.
Experience:
• Up to 12 years.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the health and availability of process analyzers and sampling systems
• Responsible for performing preventive & Corrective Maintenance of process analyzers and sampling systems in the designated area.
• The candidate should diagnose and resolve issues in Analyzer Systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime.
• The aspirant would be asked to create and maintain detailed documentation such as wiring diagrams, control logic descriptions, and user manuals, and ensure systems meet quality and safety standards.
• He/She can be asked to determine analyzer systems’ performance and implement strategies or upgrades / in coordination with area engineers to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• The prospective candidate should look after the Maintenance activities of Fire Detection (Fire Alarm, Detectors, Horn, etc.), maintaining Fire suppression systems (Sprinkler system, Deluge system, Wet & Dry system, FM 200) & Gas Detection Spares.
• Responsible for preventive & Corrective Maintenance of Fire Alarm, Fire & Gas Detection & Fire suppression systems in the designated area.
• Provide necessary feedback/inputs to the Engineer during the preparation of technical investigation reports of critical activities.
• Execution of all Maintenance Orders, as per PARCO MCR HSEQ Policy.
• Troubleshoot repair & parts replacement (as & when required) of existing systems.
