Role of Operation Officer
The “Operation Officer” will be responsible for supervising terminal activities including oil storage, loading, unloading, and pipeline operations. The role ensures smooth coordination between operational teams and maintains safety and quality standards.
This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient “Petroleum Operations” and smooth supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle the following core duties:
Terminal Operations Management
Supervise daily terminal activities including tank lorry loading, decanting, and pipeline receipt operations.
Quality & Cost Control
Ensure cost optimization while maintaining strict quality assurance standards during petroleum handling.
Stock Monitoring
Manage stock levels, loss/gain reporting, and operational efficiency within the terminal.
Team Supervision
Guide non-management staff and ensure smooth coordination between operational teams.
Safety & HSSE Standards
Maintain high HSSE standards, ensuring safe handling of petroleum products and terminal housekeeping.
Experience & Skills Required
Candidates applying for this role should have:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in OMC or petroleum sector
- Strong understanding of terminal operations
- Knowledge of loading/unloading tank lorries
- Pipeline handling experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
