💡 Job Description
The Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation and control systems. These Instrumentation Technician Jobs in KMI Company 2026 require strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments
Troubleshooting of transmitters, control valves, sensors, and analyzers
Maintain PLC, DCS, and control loop systems
Preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
Support engineers during shutdowns and project activities
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical documentation
🧰 Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems
Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, and control panels
Ability to read P&ID diagrams and instrumentation drawings
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
🎓 Qualification & Experience
DAE in Instrumentation Technology or Electrical Technology
Minimum 2–6 years of relevant industrial experience
Experience in chemical, power, oil & gas, or manufacturing plants preferred
Knowledge of safety standards and calibration procedures is an advantage
