✅ Key Responsibilities
Create baseline project schedules within 10 working days of contract award.
Maintain ≥90% accuracy in weekly look-ahead schedules to align with site execution.
Monitor and control schedule variance (within ±10%) and prepare recovery plans if needed.
Integrate timelines with procurement and resource plans to ensure smooth execution.
Maintain SPI & CPI ≥ 0.95 through robust Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.
Conduct risk analysis, review contract compliance, and prepare variation documentation.
Attend weekly progress meetings and participate in monthly milestone reviews.
Perform a minimum of 4 site visits per month to track project progress.
Assist in controlling project budgets (≤±5% deviation) and ensure timely invoice submissions.
Contribute to internal SOP audits and training initiatives.
🎓 Required Qualifications For Assistant Planning Engineer Karachi
Bachelor’s Degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in project planning and scheduling
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project
Strong knowledge of EVM, cost control, and contract management
Excellent communication, analytical, and team coordination skills
